It seems that hackers are in the mood. In 24 hours after providing the Evasi0n7 1.0.3 to fix reboot issues on iPad mini and add support for iOS 7.1 beta 3, here is a new stamped version 1.0.4 which is now available. According to the changelog provided, the tool to jailbreak untethered iOS 7 has been providing security patches to the kernel level in particular.

For now, patches are only available via Evasi0n7 for devices ready to be jailbroken. Those who've had Cydia will need to wait a few minutes, expecting few hours before Saurik update its source to provide patches directly via an update. Thus, it will not be necessary to restore and re-jailbreak.

Additional fixes for the Retina iPad mini (iPad mini 2) have also been added. Hackers really hope that this version will be good for Apple's latest iPad.

Evasi0n7 1.0.4 is available as always on Mac and PC. You can get the software from evasi0n.com, and to be safe you'd better follow our tutorial which is still operational, the steps have not changed since the first version.
