SanDisk's new 512GB Extreme Pro SDXC milestone is the company's 64GB microSD card in the same product line -- the fastest microSD card currently available, boasts SanDisk, with a higher capacity for growing storage needs. With the 64GB Extreme Pro microSDXC UHS-I card comes, among other things, the ability to handle 4k video.
The new microSDXC card offers transfer speeds up to 95MB/s, and boasts UHS Speed Class 3 rating, among other things, all of which makes this a good choice for demanding users and those dabbling with 4k video capture.
SanDisk has pointed out that 4k video is no longer reserved for a select few, and so needs for cards that can handle the video has increased. The new microSDXC is a Class 10 offering, and is currently being shown off at Photokina.
The newest card is available now across the globe for $299.99 USD, and is joined by lower-capacity 16GB and 32GB cards in the same product family (starting at $79.99 USD). Be sure to hit up our SanDisk tag portal for additional news from the company.
