BioUnlock will delight users with a Mac and an iPhone 5s. Available for jailbroken devices only, this tweak allows you to unlock your Mac using the Touch ID Sensor present on the iPhone 5s. A more or less similar system exists for people who do not have a jailbroken device. Called Knock and works differently with the same purpose. The user must download the app on his iPhone (App Store Link - € 3.59 - iPhone) and a utility on your Mac to launch the configuration.

Like Knock, BioUnlock can bypass the password to get access to the session. The user places his finger which he defined in the settings on Touch ID. Then the Mac will recognize it and will lead the user on his desk. Once the unlocking done, a confirmation message will be appear on the iPhone.

So far, the developer Eric Castro says that its tweak still requires improvement. It still needs to create a simple interface for Mac and iPhone to be able to afford and to easily connect the two devices together. Scheduled for the end of January for a release on Cydia. The developer also hopes compatibility with Windows later though.

In the immediate future, the developer does not reveal any price. We do not know if BioUnlock will be for free or paid.
