Canon announce the EOS-1D C a 4K full-frame DSLR

Canon revolutionized the photography world with 1DS, and now they make a step ahead of their rivals by announcing the first 4K (4096 x 2160) full frame DSLR. 

The EOS-1D C is a 4K-shooters and the first DSLR in Canon’s lineup capable of shooting 4K (4096 x 2160) video at up to 24fps on its 18MP full-frame sensor.

The Canon EOS-1D C will also features some specifications like the following ones :

• 4k movies
• 1080p at 50/60fps; Canon Log Gamma
• Uncompressed HDMI output
• 18 MP Full Frame CMOS
• Up to 12fps stills; 14fps mode
• 61 point AF system
• ISO range 100-25600
• Dual DIGIC 5+ processors
• Clear View II 8.1cm (3.2") LCD
• EF lens compatible

Pricing and availability are not yet available, but the beast is expected to cost €10,000 .
